Pitchspoon

Pitchspoon (a play on words of American music publication ‘Pitchfork’) was a result of two best friends’ obsession with reading music criticism and discussing pop music during the pandemic. The website was heavily inspired by 90s web aesthetics and exuberant attitudes towards diaristic blogging and was the artistic collaboration between myself and Amy Mah. Coded from scratch, the maximalist website features spinning records and CDs (clicking them takes you to the song on Youtube) and a random album generator to get music recommendations.
